Weekend DIY Project

I love the idea of a chalk board table, always had the idea banked for when Georgie is finally old enough to use one. I only recently came across this gorgeous make over which includes just that, a chalk board top as well as a complete makeover on the remaining areas of the furniture. After a few carefully selected licks of paint and vinyl number stickers you wouldnt believe the original furniture set her back only $10!!!

Three's a crowd four is chaos.

OK I admit, my holiday period and lack of entry on the blog has been a little more than anticipated! Time just flies with a baby and it was at Christmas time that our family discovered some exciting news:

We have another little bundle of joy on the way!

Baby #2 is due on the 2nd August giving Georgie a little friend only 15 months younger then herself. Yes, I know I am going to be one busy bee for the next few years but being a Mum is the best job in the world and I wouldnt trade it for anything else.

Add to that, we recently sold up our beachside apartment for a bigger house close by so its all systems go around my household. And lets not forget Georgie's birthday is fast approaching so plans for the all important first birthday are well underway.

For the blog in 2013, well as busy as I will be I do have some exciting things planned ahead and look forward to sharing with my readers the many gorgeous things I discover on this journey called 'parenting' and for the second time 'pregnancy'.
